About us

In 1984 I caught a swarm of bees. From that time on my life and work has been greatly influenced by bees. It resulted in the esthablisment of the Petrovic Beekeeping  Company in  2004. Today the beefarm has more than 100 beehives.

The apiary is located in the mountains, / altitude 510 meters / in the Southern part of Slovakia, the municipality of Stredne Plachtince, district Velky Krtis.

The surrounding environment is not  influenced  by harmful emissions, totally outside the industrial areas. The forests, meadows and pastures are especially rich in nectar producing flowers in spring. Summer is usually less abundant in flower and unpredictable.


Farm production is mainly focused on the honey.
